​              Relaunch of the Senior Club Autumn 2015

Volume 1, issue 1 of the NIBSC Senior Club Newsletter gave the very good news that in the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Senior Club, Joy Jobi (Corporate Affairs Officer at NIBSC) has relaunched the Senior Club. She persevered in compiling a mailing list from various paper sources left by Pam Lane then Adele Gerard. Her first responsibility was to organise the traditional Christmas Lunch at the Old Manor in Potters Bar.


A goodly crowd of regulars met up in the bar at noon on December. John Garrett and Joan Zanelli were there early, on a 20 year reminiscence trip, watching everyone arrive. "Everyone" included Margrethe Alexandroni (wife of Maher who sadly died in May 2015), Roger and Jenny Blake, Kennedy Brown, Patrick Corran, Dennis Crane, Rosemary Di Rossi, Chris Gee, Elwyn Griffiths, Mike and Kathleen Holden, Annie John, Bob Kempton, David Lord, Penny Newland, Diane Warren, Phyllis and Heather Young and Tom Williams. Joy took time off work to join in the lunch and chat to all to put faces to names.
